Groovysquid Glass

My name is Chanda Froehle, and I am a stained glass mosaic artist. I live and work in Louisville, KY. Most of my pieces fall into the catagory of glass on glass mosaic.

I began making Groovysquid Glass pieces three years ago, when I decided to make a mosaic table as a gift for a friend. I enjoyed the entire process so much, that I kept on making them. Once I discovered what could be done with a glass cutter and some beautiful stained glass, I couldn't stop making them.

My windows are made from repurposed vintage windows, onto which I create the mosaic designs. Examples of my work can be found here in my home studio, at Edenside Gallery in Louisville, and at The Art House in Ft. Thomas KY.
